Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Nexus Care ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and healthcare professionals.

2. Service Description

Nexus Care provides the following services:

  • AI-powered symptom analysis and department recommendation
  • Online appointment booking with hospitals and doctors
  • Hospital information and navigation services
  • Companion care request and management
  • Personal health record management
  • Bilingual (Chinese/English) interface

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • You must be at least 14 years old to create an account
  • One person may maintain only one account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Provide false or misleading health information
  • Attempt to manipulate AI recommendations or appointment systems
  • Share your account with third parties
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Upload content that is harmful, threatening, or objectionable

5. Appointments & Cancellations

  • Appointments are subject to availability and hospital confirmation
  • Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled time
  • Repeated no-shows may result in booking restrictions
  • Nexus Care facilitates bookings but is not responsible for hospital scheduling changes

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Nexus Care — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — are the exclusive property of Nexus Care and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Nexus Care provides AI recommendations for reference only and is not liable for any medical decisions made based on these recommendations
  • We are not responsible for the quality of medical services provided by hospitals or doctors
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the preceding 12 months

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason we deem appropriate.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through the courts of Shanghai, China.
